A video that has been circulating for several days on social media and which shows images of very young children being abused, is from Saudi Arabia, Wednesday the Brussels public prosecutor's office said on the basis of badyzes carried out by the Computer Crime Unit (CCU) of the federal police.

The video shows two children about a year old who are beaten to the ground and thrown to the ground. It was published by someone living in Brussels, which led the prosecutor's office of the capital to open an investigation.

The prosecution has since closed the case.
