UNUSUAL – Kidnapping is a crime, even when it comes to a baby shark. The Aquarium in San Antonio, Texas made a sad discovery on July 28th: one of his boarders was missing. Miss Helen, a 40-centimeter-long sleeper shark baby, has been evaporated by uninvited visitors, as you can see in the video at the head of this article.
Video surveillance quickly highlighted three suspects, two men and a woman. After emptying a bucket of bleach into the aquarium's filtration system, which put all the fish in danger, one of them grabbed the young shark. Wrapping him in a wet cloth, he threw it into the bucket, then hidden it in a … stroller, before leaving without being worried, surrounded by his accomplices.
The efforts of the police have fortunately quickly paid off. Arrested two days later, the main kidnapper, who owns a large personal aquarium, wanted to replace his shark, which had recently disappeared. For her part, Miss Helen, was put back in her pelvis. Although a little shaken, she should suffer no aftermath of this mishap.
