Masanté, the portal launched two months ago by the Minister of Public Health, Maggie De Block, is enriched by three new features: it is now available in German, citizens have access to reliable information on health and finally, from the portal, will be able to access the eBox in one click.
Launched on May 8th, the portal has already attracted more than 200,000 Belgians and 101,000 connections were recorded.
"The patient is the central figure in health. It is clear that he must also be at the helm alongside health care providers who have medical expertise. It is important that he is well informed in order to play this role actively. This is exactly what we are aiming for with Masanté. Through this portal, we want to give citizens quick and easy access to their electronically available health data, so they can make informed choices, "said Maggie De Block.
Citizens, Above all, they are very satisfied with the fact that they can consult their medical data quickly and simply electronically, according to the first comments collected by the FPS Public Health.
Based on these results, the various actors in the field are strive to improve and expand the existing range of products and services, concluded the Minister.
