The course of the 11th stage of the Tour de France, drawn by ASO, has the particularity of being very short. The 108.5 km between the start of Albertville and the arrival at the top of the Col de La Rosière (1st category), will include two pbades out of category (Montée de Bisanne, km 26, and Col du Pré, km 57, 5) and a second category (Cormet de Roselend at km 70).
According to the best time schedule, the race should last a little over 3 hours which would allow to attend an eventful race between the favorites which has not yet been the case in this Tour. The start is scheduled after 14h in Albertville.

Will the runners save themselves with a view to the Alpe d'Huez?
In the Dauphiné this year, this course had already been taken. The starting point was Frontenex, but the pack took more than 100 of the 108.5 km of this stage with the same pbades on the menu: the Montée de Bisanne (12.4 km at 8.2%), the Col du Pré (12.6 km to 7.7%), the Cormet de Roselend (5.7 km to 5.6%) and finally La Rosière (17.6 km to 5.8%).
