French midfielder Abdelrafik Gérard signed a three-season contract, with an optional fourth year, in favor of Union Saint-Gilloise. The Brussels football club announced it on Tuesday.
Abdelrafik Gérard, who holds dual French-Algerian nationality, was trained at Paris Saint-Germain, before joining Créteil and RC Lens in 2016. In two seasons at the Artesians, he played 43 games in all competitions.
Last season, the 25-year-old played 12 league games, a championship punctuated in 14th place by the 'Sang et Or'.
Gérard is already the ninth transfer on the side of La Butte.
