Sans no doubt, the most unusual moment of this fair took place this Sunday on the Grand ring: the demonstration of an ox, named Aston, who rides like a horse!

For twenty minutes, he chained greetings and jumps, with success, like an equine. Simply surprising. Surprised, the public has, in any case, appreciated the many applause that accompanied him. How do we get to that? Sabine Rouas, the mistress of Aston, who lives in the Grand Duchy, explains: "When my competition horse died, I fell into depression. And we live next to a farm, where I became fond of a cow, to whom I spoke when she was pregnant. I got to know cattle, which are more unknown and much smarter than you think. And when Aston was born, he reacted to my voice. So, for fun and challenge, I worked as I do with cats. They are very similar because they work to please the master, but when they do not want, even the punishment does not work as it is the case for the horse. "

Since 2015, Anton and Sabine chained the shows in Belgium, France and the Grand Duchy. "But with his 1.5 ton, he has to rest after every show. This is not a problem in itself since one can not work for a month, he remembers everything. More than a horse And if it's more comfortable to ride, it's also much more tiring. " A fatigue that does not prevent Sabine to take maximum pleasure. She may also try the same job with two new bulls, at the request of a breeder. The fact is that the Grand Ducal is enjoying growing success. And that's understandable.
