WWE SmackDown Live July 17 Results – VoxCatch

In this episode of WWE SmackDown Live, the first after Extreme Rules 2018, we should know the new AJ Styles challenger for the title of WWE champion, while it will face Andrade "Cien" Almas. Shinsuke Nakamura and Jeff Hardy will play the revenge this Sunday.

Broken Jeff Hardy

The show opens with Jeff Hardy, who spoke about his quick defeat of Shinsuke Nakamura last Sunday at WWE Extreme Rules where he lost his title of champion of the United States. He says he does not feel himself since this defeat, that he misses something, he feels "Broken".

But he does not intend to give up and promises tonight to make it disappear Shinsuke Nakamura and make it "Obsolete". If you do not have the references yet you are elsewhere.

Behind the scenes Shinsuke Nakamura who was watching the Jeff Hardy promo is immediately interviewed by Renee Young. He calls him a sad clown who hides his tears behind his makeup

• AJ Styles defeated Andrade "Cien" Almas by submission with Calf Crusher. We are surprised that this match went well and ended cleanly.

Aiden English is behind the scenes and apologizes to Lana for having cost the victory to Rusev on Sunday at WWE Extreme Rules. But Lana tells her that she does not have to apologize. She also wonders if it is really useful to Rusev. Aiden English is asking for a second chance, which Lana says she will see what she can do.

Becky Lynch soon champion?

• Becky Lynch defeated Mandy Rose by submission with the Disarmer. We were more surprised by Mandy Rose's entry into the most kitsch years of television.

Becky Lynch takes the microphone after the match to challenge Carmella for her title of SmackDown champion. Behind the scenes, Carmella is with Paige and tells him that there is no question that she defends her title. Paige announces that she will face Becky Lynch next week and that if Lynch wins, Carmella will have to defend her title at WWE SummerSlam 2018.

R-Truth tries to motivate Tye Dillinger for her new match against Samoa Joe but Dillinger does not is not interested. We are very afraid that they will put them in a team these two.

• Samoa Joe defeated Tye Dillinger by submission with Coquina Clutch. Dillinger got the upper hand early in the game, but it did not last long, the rest of the match was just a small beating before submission and falling asleep.

Bryan vs. Miz, it is (finally) gone

The Miz arrives to pronounce the eulogy of Team Hell No, following the attack of the Bludgeon Brothers with WWE Extreme Rules which prevented Kane to be at 100% for the match team championship. We have already understood that it was to launch the rivalry against Daniel Bryan and we are delighted.

The Miz arrives and accompanied by some undertaker who carry a false head of Kane as if he had been beheaded. It's a little weird. Meanwhile the Miz shake hands of the public as a funeral, impossible not to laugh.

He takes the microphone and can not help but first promote Miz & Mrs, his show reality show that will be airing from next week on the USA channel. He then asks the public to observe a minute of silence in the memory of Team Hell No, but he starts a song "Yes Yes Yes."

Miz then accuses Daniel Bryan he just wanted to stay in the coup, explains that his return to the ring is a fiasco and that week after week he tarnishes his image. For him, the time when he could make the main event of WrestleMania is over and his career is dead as the Team Hell No.

Daniel Bryan then makes his entry and does not take the time to discuss, he attacks the dead crunches who tries to defend himself while the Miz runs out of the ring. He hits one of them with a running knee.
