Ben Affleck takes romance seriously.
TikTok user Nivinejay took to the short form video social media app on Monday to share a story about the 48-year-old actor, who she claims to have been matched with on the dating app Raya.
“Thinking back to the time when I paired up with Ben Affleck on raya and thought it was wrong so I unmatched him and he sent me a video on Instagram,” he said. she writes on a short video of herself on a song.
The video then switches to a clip of Affleck speaking directly to a camera.

“Nivine, why did you argue with me? asks the Oscar winner. “It’s me.”
Representatives for the actor did not immediately respond to Fox Business’s request for comment.
Raya is an exclusive members-only dating app known for its celebrities, influencers and other public figures.
Affleck’s presence on the dating app has been a widely known ‘secret’ for some time, with Page Six reporting that he was using the app as early as October 2019.

In a February 2020 interview on “Good Morning America”, however, he said he is not looking for love “on any website.”
“I know people who are on them and they have fun, but not me,” he said at the time. “I would love to have a relationship that is deeply meaningful and that I can be deeply involved in.”

If he had taken a hiatus from the app at the time of the interview, it appears he returned to it last summer, as Rebel Wilson said in an interview that she spotted him using the application itself.

Affleck was previously married to actress Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children: Violet, 15, Seraphina Rose, 12, and Samuel, 9. Their marriage lasted from 2005 to 2018.
Additionally, he was engaged to Jennifer Lopez from 2002 to 2004. They were most recently seen together after Lopez split from former MLB star Alex Rodriguez.
