In the comic, the incident prompting the Breaking point The storyline is one where Barry Allen used the power of the Speed Force to change his own timeline, trying to prevent his mother’s murder from happening. This one change reverberated throughout the DC Universe, causing huge changes in the history and lives of its allies in the Justice League.
