When stopping the campaign in Iowa Saturday, jokingly that Sanders would be a president who defended justice "in all its flavors".

During a campaign in Ames, Iowa, the ice cream maker and the co-chair of the presidential campaign for Sanders in 2020 stated that he had handed over the title of the most famous resident from Vermont to Sanders following his bid for the 2016 presidency.

"Before Bernie, I was the most famous guy in Vermont!" Cohen joked, laughing. "I'm so happy to give this title to Bernie."

"The ice cream is good," he continued. "But a president of the United States who truly defends justice in all its forms? It's euphoric!"

Sanders is in Iowa this weekend, site of the first 2020 primary caucuses, while he's fighting for the lead role in the primary race with the former vice president. Cohen is a longtime ally of Sanders. He had already approved in his unsuccessful application for 2016 and had made a Sanders ice cream.
