Pittsburgh Steelers fans around the world are thrilled to see their team currently at 9-0. It’s unprecedented in the history of the franchise. The whole thing is made even more exciting and satisfying when you consider the struggles of the past two seasons. But for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the team’s goal is much bigger than winning every game, it’s about winning the most important thing.
This week Pittsburgh travels to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars and it should be a game the Steelers will easily win. However, Roethlisberger understands that a loss here is not the end of the world.
Unfortunately, in a crowded AFC playoff picture, it’s a little more complicated than that. There’s only one week off to be earned and the Steelers need it. Unbeaten might not be the goal, but it might be the only way to get that top spot.
