As the Philadelphia 76ers continue to explore business options involving Ben Simmons, the All-Star point guard would apparently have no personal contact with anyone in the organization.
By Jason dumas of KRON4 News in the Bay Area, Simmons “cut off communication with pretty much everyone in the Sixers organization” and it all goes through his agent, Rich Paul.
Dumas noted that Simmons is “open” to playing for the Golden State Warriors.
The Sixers have reportedly discussed Simmons in business proposals with the Warriors, but the two sides were unable to come to an agreement.
Keith Pompey from Philadelphia Investigator reported on July 29 that Golden State had rejected Philadelphia’s claim of Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman as well as the No.7 and No.14 picks in this year’s draft for Simmons.
