Bengals injury updates: Joe Mixon questionable, O-line uncertain at RT

Five players have been declared eliminated for the Cincinnati Bengals’ Week 10 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bobby Hart (knee) will not play after not training for the whole week. The Bengals aren’t announcing who will leave for Hart at the right tackle until Sunday, but it looks like Hakeem Adeniji will take over if Fred Johnson doesn’t step off the Reserve / COVID-19 list on Saturday.

Joe Mixon (foot) is listed as DOUBTFUL, but hasn’t practiced all week and likely won’t play. Giovani Bernard will make his third consecutive start if Mixon remains sidelined.

The Bengals will also face the inability to play both Darius Phillips (groin) and LeShaun Sims (concussion) on Sunday. This currently leaves them with three healthy cornerbacks on the active roster. Sims suffered his concussion during practice Thursday.

Tony Brown is expected to start for Phillips at the left corner, and Jalen Davis may need to be high on the practice squad if practice squad cornerbacks Winston Rose and / or Brian Allen aren’t taken out of the Reserve / COVID-19 list on Saturday.

Geno Atkins also won’t be playing as he’s struggling with an undisclosed family issue. He missed practice all week because of it. John Ross III (foot) was also released this week.

Jonah Williams (stinger) is listed as questionable, but after training to some extent for the entire week he can be expected to play.

The Steelers also have a few players considered questionable. CB Mike Hilton (shoulder) has been limited to training since Thursday with DE Isaiah Buggs (ankle). RB Anthony McFarland and Kevin Dotson are also both questionable with the disease. McFarland missed practice on Thursday and Friday, and Dotson missed practice on Friday.

DE Tyson Alualu (knee) trained fully on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday so he will be ready to play.
