Bernie Sanders unveils plan to redesign public education

To combat disparities in funding for education, Sanders proposes "significant new investments in programs that serve very poor communities, support students with special needs, and reinforce local efforts to integrate school districts ". It also involves setting a minimum per student for spending in all school districts in the country, as well as a universal school meal plan and a goal of "bridging the funding gap of school infrastructure to renovate, modernize and green the schools of the country. "
