Wristwatches have made a comeback, in large part because they’ve gotten so much smarter. Smartwatches and fitness trackers are gaining popularity due to all of their awesome features and ability to track workouts. Most are easy to set up and use, and not only can they help you stay more active, but you won’t miss an alert from your phone either.
This holiday season, you can get deals on some of the best, including the top three: Fitbit, Samsung Galaxy Watch, and Apple Watch. We’ve rounded up the best smartwatch and fitness tracker deals for Black Friday and throughout the month. These sales start and end at different times, and we’ll do our best to keep this listing up to date with the most recent prices.

CNET has dubbed the Fitbit Charge 4 the best all-around fitness tracker of 2020 for its low price, slim design, fashionable and functional straps, and solid set of features, including GPS and sleep tracking.
While it doesn’t have a color display like most smartwatches, its small design makes it comfortable to wear 24/7, and the battery life lasts for around four days, or seven if you turn off GPS. If you’re looking to get a fitness tracker for someone who isn’t already wearing one, this is a great buy. Read our Fitbit Charge 4 review.

If you are looking to buy a fitness tracker for a child, this is your best bet. The Ace 2 is designed for children ages 6 and up to help them stay active with special challenges. It’s waterproof, so kids can wear it while swimming, it tracks sleep like other Fitbits and gives alerts when your child receives a phone call, as long as they also have a smartphone with them.

The Samsung Watch 3 has premium health features including sensors that can perform an ECG and measure your blood oxygen levels. The sleek design doesn’t scream “smartwatch”, and it’s compatible with Android and iPhone, making a great gift for anyone.
The 41mm model costs $ 340 and the 45mm model is $ 370.

If you want to save more than a few dollars and get a Samsung Galaxy Watch that has almost the same features as the Galaxy Watch 3, get the Active 2. It was recently updated in 2020 to include the ECG function, in plus measure your VO2 max and has drop detection.
It’s just a bit smaller than the Watch 3 and, in our opinion, more comfortable to sleep on, if you want to use it for sleep tracking.
Fossil
For a smartwatch that looks more like an old-fashioned watch, check out Fossil’s 5th Gen 5 line. They have traditional watch details, like bezels and metal crowns. You can hang the 5th Gen 5 smartwatch with a silicone strap for $ 150, or opt for a stainless steel or leather strap for between $ 170 and $ 180. Prices vary depending on the exact model.

Fitbit’s latest high-end smartwatch, the Sense, is $ 50 off this Black Friday at Best Buy. The watch has most of the functionality of all Fitbit to date and can track your stress, temperature, blood oxygen and sleep. It can also send notifications from your phone to your wrist so you never miss a beat.

One of our favorite Fitbits, the Versa 2 goes on sale this Black Friday at Best Buy. It’s an almost perfect mix of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch, with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant on board, at a great price. Granted, this is last year’s model, so you’re missing out on the addition of GPS, Google Assistant, and a few extras. Still, we think the Versa 2 is a good buy.

The entry-level Fitbit Inspire 2 2020 is a slim fitness tracker with just enough features for someone who wants to keep tabs on their activity level and stay up to date on their phone’s alerts. It has 10 days of battery life and ticks the boxes for sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring.

Garmin’s premium Fenix 5X smartwatch for runners comes with heart rate tracking, step-by-step instructions and built-in topographic maps. The sapphire version, which has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal display, is the top of the line, and you can pick one up for $ 200 off this Black Friday.

Fossil
Are you looking for a smart watch with style? On Amazon, you can save up to 40% on smartwatches from Fossil, Skagen, and Emporio Armani that look like traditional watches, with both metal and leather straps. All of them run on Wear OS by Google and work with Android phones and iPhone.
