Best Buy is again restocking Nvidia RTX 3000 graphics cards in stores across the United States.
In-store sales of GPUs will begin Friday morning, October 1 at 7:30 a.m. local time at dozens of Best Buy stores. Find participating stores by visiting the retailer’s web page.
Best Buy is expected to have RTX Founders Edition cards from Nvidia. But as before, the retailer will distribute graphics cards on a first come, first served basis. They’ll also be limited in quantity, so you might need to line up early for a chance to snag a GPU.
“Blue shirts at participating stores will begin distributing tickets at 7:30 am local time that morning. We will distribute one ticket per purchasing customer online. If you get a ticket, you’re guaranteed to buy a graphics card inside the store from 8 a.m. local time, ”the retailer said.
Some consumers are already lining up and placing chairs outside Best Buy stores.
Twitter account GPU Replenishment Monitor, which tracks Best Buy’s in-store sales, says RTX 3000 units will be low at participating stores: “Less than 15 (RTX) 3080 in most locations. “
If you decide to participate, we recommend that you bring a folding chair, blankets, and line up as soon as possible. Past in-store sales drew massive lines of over 200 people, including this reporter, who braved the cold and camped overnight to get an Nvidia graphics card.
