Best cards to draw from the Pokémon TCG celebrations

Pokemon JCC Celebrations is here, with a variety of new cards and revamped classic cards that are sure to complement any collection.

The set launched in stores earlier today on October 8. Since then, cards have started showing up on resale sites for decent amounts of money. While most cards are great value considering their recent release, some excel above others in the secondary market.

If you collect or are looking to buy cards in the hopes of returning them for a profit, here are the cards inside Celebrations which are going to be your biggest income.

Best Silver Cards of the Pokémon TCG Celebrations

There are many great value cards in Celebrations, but the most expensive are the close remakes.

Base Set Charizard’s 25th anniversary remake is the most valuable of the set right now, selling for around $ 300 USD at the time of writing.

Umbreon Star, another close remake, fetch prices around $ 250. The other two first-gen Base Set remakes for Blastoise and Venusaur cost around $ 100. Shining Magikarp is the final remake worth over $ 80.

Among the new cards, Flying Pikachu VMax, Professor’s Research, Pikachu, and Flying Pikachu V are the cards you are going to want to hunt. But their price is significantly lower than that of nearby reprints.

If you can collect a set of all of the different Pikachu cards included in this set, you’ll be sure to get a pretty high price tag. But no full set has yet gone on sale to assess exactly how much.
