If you haven’t found a new laptop under the tree this year, there are plenty of great after-vacation bargains to be had, whether you need a Work at home, distance learning or the game improve. As we put 2020 in the rear view mirror, there are currently some great discounts available at almost all major retailers including Amazon, Best buy and Walmart.

We’ve rounded up all the best laptop deals here so you can save on new gear from brands like Dell, Gateway, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft. Be sure to come back, as we will update this list regularly as more offers become available and more expire.

Asus

If you don’t travel, why not buy the biggest laptop you can find? This 17.3-inch model from Asus offers a range of affordable mid-range components with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 12 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD drive.

Walmart

If you are of a certain age, you may remember the name of the Gateway and its computers that come in boxes printed in black and white. Gateway is back in the form of a line of budget laptops and tablets at Walmart. But you won’t find any of the models on store shelves in their iconic cow packaging; new Gateway laptops are available online only. This 14-inch Gateway laptop features a 10th Generation Intel Core i5 processor and 16GB of RAM. You get a 256GB SSD for storage. Storage capacity is average for the price, but the amount of memory is double what is usually offered. And you get a Full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels), which is better than the 1366 x 768 pixel panels you find on other budget laptops. There is also a fingerprint reader for easy and secure logins.

Walmart

Take the model above, expand the screen from 14.1 to 15.6 inches, and get $ 250 in savings. If you work or learn at home and move around less, the extra screen area outweighs the extra weight and bulk.

HP

This 15.6-inch Pavilion model sold direct from HP is a modern mid-range laptop powered by an 11th generation Core i5 processor and 8 GB of RAM. And it’s customizable, so you can double the RAM for a reasonable price of $ 50. I would also consider slashing $ 120 to upgrade the screen to a Full HD panel.

This is a high-powered setup by Chromebook standards – you won’t find a low budget CPU or a meager RAM allocation here. This HP Chromebook features a 10th Generation Intel Core i3 processor and 8 GB of memory. And the 14-inch screen, which can spin all around in tablet mode, features Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution where most Chromebooks only provide a 768p panel.

Dell

Dell’s premium Inspiron 7000 two-in-one convertible features an all-aluminum chassis that is thinner, lighter, and more robust than the mid-range Inspiron 5000 which features covers and plates of metal keyboard, but flimsy plastic bottom panels. This 13.3-inch model provides an 11th generation Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, Intel Xe graphics, and a 512GB SSD with 32GB of fast Optane memory.

Go and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics. The 15.6-inch display has Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a fast refresh rate of 120Hz, but it’s rated for just 250 nits of brightness.
