The loss of Randy Ramsey to a major ankle injury deprived the Packers of a special teams baseman and arguably the outside linebacker favorite behind the Big Three. Between Garvin, Galeai, Scott and Rivers, a player must emerge as a player who can contribute something in defense while playing a key role in several special team groups. Kamal Martin, who suffers from a knee injury, could also take that into account once he is healthy. The Packers have driven him to the limit.
