Bethesda has disclosed the system requirements for Rage 2

Id Software's latest shooter, Rage 2, promises to be one of the most exciting titles coming out this year. His colorful artistic style, his wide range of weapons and powerful vehicles and his special abilities similar to those of the superpower make it a unique open world shooter (hopefully).

Although we can not judge the quality of the game before its release in a few weeks, we can Judge how hard it will be with the courtesy of Bethesda on your PC. The publisher has revealed the official system requirements of Rage 2, which are as follows:

Minimum system requirements:

  • BONE: Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 (64 bits)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
  • Memory: 8 GB of RAM
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 780 3GB or AMD R9 280 3GB
  • Storage: 50 GB of available space

Recommended configuration:

  • Operating system: Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 (64-bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • Memory: 8 GB of RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB or AMD Vega 56 8GB
  • Storage: 50 GB of available space

It seems that the rendering of all the bullets, explosions and anti-gravity fields of Rage 2 will require a pretty powerful system. Although the 780 is certainly not a new card, it still sets the bar higher than other reasonably modern and visually demanding titles.

Total War: Warhammer 2 (released in 2017), although it is visually stunning and has several hundred units at a time (not to say it has a reputation for being a bit poorly optimized) only mentions A 770 advisable GPU.

And the 780 is just for the minimum requirements of Rage 2 – the recommended specifications require a bit more. Of course, as usual, you will definitely be able to increase the number of frames per second by lowering the Rage 2 graphics by a few steps.

You can pre-order Rage 2 via Steam or Bethesda.net for $ 59.99 immediately before launching on May 14th.
