Fallout 76 This could be a bit of a disaster, but Bethesda has not yet abandoned the multiplayer game in the open world. The company today announced its 2019 roadmap, which includes information on three major update seasons: Wild Appalachian, Winter Nuclear and Wastelanders. Effective March 12, 2019, Wild Appalachia will add new quests, events and updates during its execution. The season will end in May.

Regarding what to expect from Wild Appalachia updates, Bethesda has offered the following details:

  • New quests: kill terror! – Discover the "encrypted" secrets of the Appalachians in a new series of quests and encounters to separate monsters from myths.
  • New quests: ever higher – Journey deep into the woods with new stories for the legendary pioneering scouts. Earn merit badges, jump in the ranks and win a customizable backpack for added utility.
  • New features: legendary supplier and scrapping – Locate the mysterious Purveyor and swap your legendary junk items with legendary new gear. Increase your chances of getting the weapon or the legendary armor of your dreams for each star assigned to a legendary item.
  • New features: C.A.M.P. Decorate, Sale to players, Functional camera – Use items from your storeroom to decorate your C.A.M.P. Build vending machines and flag items for sale. Just set your prices and move away to continue your Appalachian adventures, making sure you capture all your favorite memories with the new functional camera. The vending machines do all the work, you just have to count the plugs.
  • New features: brewing and distillation – Go on a new quest to discover the secrets of the forbidden beer Nukashine and bring the party back to your CAC with new brewing and distilling systems and recipes.
  • New Seasonal Event: Fasnacht Parade – Hunt the old man winter and accelerate the arrival of spring with the old festival of Fasnacht! Join the celebration and complete this new, time-limited event to earn unique rewards in the form of festive Fasnacht masks.
  • New game mode: survival – This all-new game mode brings a greater PvP experience with fewer restrictions, increased rewards, new challenges and all the original content of Adventure Mode.
