The former representative, Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, landed this week on the leader of 2020, Joe Biden, describing the former vice-president of aged relic a less progressive and less inclusive.

"You can not go back to the end of the Obama administration and think that's enough," O'Rourke said this week during an appearance on MSNBC. He added that whoever wins the 2020 Democratic nomination should be more than simply "defeating" the current resident of the White House.
"I do not really know what [Biden] believe or what he should be sorry for. I only know that this country should be able to do a lot better, "O'Rourke said.
"You have to ask where Joe Biden is on the most important issues for you," he continued, not letting go a little. "Did he support the war in Iraq that will forever destabilize the Middle East? Did he really believe that low-income women should be able to make their own decisions about their own bodies, to be able to afford health care to do so? He supported the Hyde amendment. he is now opposed to the Hyde amendment.
That's – everything is true, in fact. O'Rourke said nothing imprecise or even unfair.
Biden did in turns, then flop, then again, his support for an amendment banning federal funds for abortions. And all because the progressives shouted at him. Biden supported the Hyde amendment and similar provisions, including the one he even named after himself, for more than 40 years. All this changed last week when Biden claimed that the Conservative opposition to abortion had convinced him that, uh, the federal government should fund the abortion. Good luck finding this one.
I'm just a little surprised to hear that this accurate criticism comes from the same 2020 candidate who signed a pledge not to attack his fellow Democrats at the elementary level.
But I guess the attack makes sense, since the O'Rourke campaign had a disappointing start. He votes in sixth place behind Biden; Meaning. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt .; Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg; and Senator Kamala Harris D-Calif., according to the average RealClearPolitics polls. In other words, it is probably not there that the candidate "I was born to be there" hoped to be at this stage of the Democratic primary.
Again, it's still time for O'Rourke to catch up with his opponents. Maybe some other attacks like the one he's launched against Biden will do the trick.
