It's grilling season and Beyond Meat wants you to eat a bigger, juicier bite of plants.
BEEF AND VEAL INDUSTRY, FIGHT AGAINST 'FALSE MEAT'
The vegetarian protein company has released a new version of its burger that is shaking up the industry. She says, looks, tastes and cooks more like beef than the original Beyond Burger.
According to the press release, the new "meaty" pie is marbled, which "melts and waits just like beef", and uses apple extract to deepen the brown color and look better like burger meat.

The new formula uses coconut oil and cocoa butter for a juicy mouth feel and a blend of pea, mung bean and rice proteins to give it a more fibrous texture.
The vegetarian meat business, which has exploded in recent months, is trying to come up with a plant-friendly option that mimics meat so closely, people will not know it's not beef.
The more meaty product began rolling out Monday and will be available in all stores across the country by the end of June, just in time for cooking weekends.
