Bianca Belair wants to make history with Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37

WrestleMania 37 will take place on April 10 and 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, a two-night show that will give us two separate headliners for each of the two nights. It’s at least possible that one of those headliners is SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, and if so, Bianca Belair wants to make history.

Because, as she told Sporting News, it would be historic in many ways:

“Everything I’ve tackled in WWE I do in search of a goal. When I think of a dream game, Sasha Banks would definitely be at the top of my list. And to think about doing the headlining of WrestleMania with Sasha Banks, it would be more than just a match. It’s more than having a good game with an effort to tear down the house. No, this is a high profile representation that will go down in the history books for several reasons. It gives me goosebumps. It would be a dream come true not only for me, but for many people. It would be a very special night and I can’t even explain what it would mean to me. … I just want it to happen. It’s not just to feed my ego. It would be a part of black history.

It would be the first time that women would make the headlines WrestleMania event as well as the first time that two black women would make the headlines. This level of representation has never been seen in WWE before.

Belair, who has an episode of WWE Chronicle premiering on WWE Network today, is one of the favorites to win the Royal Rumble in a week’s time. Banks is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion.

We never know.
