Bichette gives birth after telling his teammate that he had hit the HR

Bo Bichette stopped before the Toronto Blues against the New York Yankees on Friday.

Before appearing in front of Yankees left-hander Tyler Lyons at the start of the 12th inning, the 21-year-old rookie told his teammates in the dugout that he had hit a circuit against the southpaw.

"Before the attack, he told a guy on the bench:" If they leave the southpaw on the mound and that he throws me a slider, I will carry him deeply " said manager Charlie Montoyo about Bichette, according to Keegan Matheson from MLB.com.

Bichette kept his word and led Lyon's 1-1 slider to the left field wall for the winner.

"I have never done that in my life, at any level," said Bichette, according to the Associated Press.

With the home run, Bichette became the youngest player of the Blue Jays to have scored a goal without respite, according to l & # 39; Team.

Bichette has been on a roll since joining the league at the end of July, hitting .313 with .945 OPS, 11 homers and 17 doubles.
