“It is with a heavy heart that I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, passed away peacefully this evening,” the president wrote in an official White House statement on Saturday evening. “He was not only my brother, he was my best friend. He will be dearly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever.”

He requested a restraining order to prevent publication of the book, claiming its publication would violate the will she signed from family patriarch Fred Trump Sr.

“His attempt to sensationalize and distort our family relationship after all these years for his own financial gain is both a travesty and an injustice to the memory of my late brother, Fred, and our beloved parents,” said he declared. “I and the rest of my entire family are so proud of my wonderful brother, the President, and I think Mary’s actions are truly a shame,” Robert Trump told The New York Times in a statement.
