Biden’s 3-part plan to fight coronavirus: masks, vaccinations, opening schools
President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday announced a three-pronged plan to tackle the coronavirus pandemic in the first 100 days of his administration.
Biden, speaking in his hometown of Wilmington, Del., As he officially unveiled his team of senior health officials, pointed out “the masking, the vaccinations, the opening of schools.” These are the three key goals of my first 100 days. “
And the president-elect emphasized, “I have absolutely no doubts that in 100 days we can turn the tide of disease and change life in America for the better.”
Biden first explained how he would implement his mask tenure, which he had previously announced, during the first 100 days of his administration.
The president-elect explained that it would begin with “my signing an order on day one to demand masks where I can under the law, such as federal buildings, interstate travel by plane, train and bus. I will also be working with the governors and mayors to do the same in their states and cities.We will require masks where possible.
And Biden urged people to “help yourself, your family, your community.” Whatever your policy or point of view – hide yourself for 100 days after we take office. One hundred days to make a difference. Swalwell suggests Trump is behind blockbuster Axios report
Representative Eric Swalwell suggested on Tuesday that President Trump was behind the Axios bombing report revealing that he was one of several politicians to be entangled with someone suspected of being a Chinese spy.
Axios reported on Monday that a Chinese national named Fang Fang or Christine Fang had targeted emerging local politicians, including Swalwell, D-Calif.
Fang was reportedly involved in raising funds for Swalwell’s re-election campaign in 2014, although she did not donate and there is no evidence of illegal contributions.
According to Axios, investigators became so alarmed by Fang’s behavior and activities that they alerted Swalwell in 2015 to their concerns and gave him a “defensive briefing.” Swalwell then cut all ties with Fang and was not charged with any wrongdoing, according to an official who spoke to the outlet. Texas AG Paxton breaks down last-resort election challenge in Supreme Court, claims ‘unreliable results’
Electoral integrity comes down to upholding the Constitution, and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton told Fox News’ “Hannity” on Tuesday that he intends to defend it.
The attorney general has filed a complaint against electoral integrity against four US states – Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – in the Supreme Court, with states having until Thursday to respond.
Paxton explained that the lawsuit stemmed from the recognition that other states and their electoral management had a direct impact on his own.
“If other states do not respect the Constitution and if their legislature is not responsible for overseeing their elections … it affects my state,” he said. “Our job is to make sure the Constitution is upheld and that every vote counts. And in this case, I’m not sure every vote was counted. Not in the right way.
Paxton’s case hinges on Article II of the Constitution, which gives state legislatures exclusive power to manage and change electoral processes – a clause he intends to prove was ignored in the 2020 election. CLICK HERE FOR MORE.
