A spokesperson for Biden’s inaugural committee declined to comment on the change in plans.

“The team is working with the current administration to get as much information as possible about the threat’s image and the preparations in place to deter and defend against disruption or violent attacks,” the team said on Wednesday. Biden’s transition team in a statement. .
