President Biden said he was “disappointed” with Republican governors considering resisting his vaccine tenure and threatening legal action.

The visit comes after Biden on Thursday ordered a comprehensive mandate requiring all employers with more than 100 employees to be vaccinated or tested weekly. The mandate affects approximately 80 million Americans. About 17 million workers in healthcare facilities who receive federal Medicare or Medicaid will also need to be vaccinated.
“We have been patient. But our patience is running out and your refusal has cost us all,” Biden said in remarks Thursday, adding that the unvaccinated “can do a lot of damage, and they are.”
