President-elect Joe Biden garnered 132 more votes after an election recount in Milwaukee County, among two places in Wisconsin where President Trump spent $ 3 million to force a recount.

In Dane County, another Democratic stronghold, votes are still counted in a tally that is expected to last until the weekend, but Trump has won 68 votes to Biden so far.
Trump is gearing up for another legal battle, this time to throw tens of thousands of ballots in the state which Biden won by nearly 20,600 votes, with margins in Milwaukee and Dane counties of around 2 against 1 for the Democrat.
Milwaukee County’s vote totals increased for both candidates after election officials found several hundred uncounted ballots earlier this week. Claire Woodall-Vogg, chief electoral officer for the city of Milwaukee, attributed it to “human error”.
“I promised it would be a transparent and fair process, and it was,” Milwaukee County Clerk George Christenson said.

The deadline for certifying the votes, which will be made by the Democratic chairman of the bipartisan Wisconsin Election Commission, is Tuesday, but the Wisconsin Voters Alliance, a conservative group, has taken legal action against election officials, seeking to block the process.
Meanwhile, Trump’s lawyers have targeted mail-in ballots in which voters identified themselves as “indefinitely confined”, allowing them to vote by mail without showing photo ID; ballots that have a certification envelope with two different ink colors, indicating that a polling officer may have helped fill it out, and mail ballots that do not have a separate written record for the request, such as in-person mail ballots.
Election officials counted these ballots during the recount, but marked them as exhibits at the behest of the Trump campaign.
Trump’s campaign challenges have failed in courts elsewhere, with experts broadly agreeing that there is no evidence for the GOP’s allegations of widespread electoral fraud. Legal efforts to date have failed in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
