Villanova defeated Seton Hall on Saturday night in the Big East Championship. Seton Hall had the ball with 14 seconds, two points less. A 3-pointer was missing and Villanova's Phil Booth grabbed the rebound, but Booth was called for a trip with 0.4 seconds remaining. Seton Hall had one last chance to force extra time or win, but could not be shot.
This is the third year in a row that Villanova has won the conference tournament. Jerry Palm plans Villanova as No. 5 seed and Seton Hall seeded No. 9 at the NCAA Tournament.
