The Big Ten has a rich history rich in historic bowl games, and expectations are set for that to continue into 2020, at least that’s what we think.
Here at Buckeyes Wire, we stick to tradition and give you a taste of where we think all the teams in the conference will end up when all the dust settles on the season.
We re-evaluate after every week of games and project things based on what we’ve seen. After giving this thing a run just before the season, we now have a few games to watch with three weeks of conference play. We saw surprises (hello Indiana) and no surprises (Michigan crashes again).
Keep in mind that some bowls don’t plan to have a game this year, so this cuts things down a bit for lower end, less lucrative bowl games.
Also, remember that these scenarios are very complicated with virtually all of the teams eligible this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. There are also agreements with the bowls not to repeat the same program over a certain period, if possible, which may or may not relate to this season.
Here’s a look at the showings after Big Ten week three.
NEXT… The first bowls
