The video left social media users wondering how the video was posted, considering that Cosby was in prison.

A spokeswoman for the former star of "Cosby Show" told USA Today that Cosby had asked that a Father's Day message be posted on his behalf.

Cosby, who is now legally blind, is serving time at SCI Phoenix in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He was convicted in 2018 of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at home in 2004.

Dozens of women have accused him of sexual assault or misconduct over a period of 50 years, five of whom testified at his new trial last year. Cosby, his lawyers and agents have repeatedly described these meetings as consensual.
