The host of the "Real Time" show, Bill Maher, made a grand entrance on Monday night when he said that he thought the former secretary of the "Real Time" show, Bill Maher, made a grand entrance on Monday night when he US state Hillary Clinton had "committed an obstruction of justice" because of the e-mail scandal.

Maher began by congratulating former President Obama for having two successful mandates without a "whiff of scandal", before reprimanding the Republicans for stirring up controversy.

"They tried Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Solyndra, all those impetuous people," Maher told CNN host Chris Cuomo.

Although he complained that Clinton's e-mail inquiry was "covered" by the media during the 2016 election, the HBO star acknowledged that Clinton's behavior was maybe illegal.

"There are many reasons why Democrats lost and many of them were Hillary was a terrible candidate, that is absolutely true," Maher said.

"She did not help herself [nor] the situation with emails in terms of how she handled her responses and actions, "replied Cuomo.

"Absolutely," Maher agreed. "And she's obstruction of justice, now I think Trump has done a lot worse, but I mean … crush your phones and hard drives …"

The host of "Real Time" also warned Democrats of 2020 to stop "pecking" at former Vice President Joe Biden when he was the only candidate able to beat President Trump in general elections and to qualify the politically correct "cancer of progressivism".
