TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama Head Football Coach Nick saban announced on Thursday the addition of Bill O’Brien to the Crimson Tide coaching staff as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Tide.

O’Brien comes to Tuscaloosa after more than six years as the head coach of the Houston Texans in the NFL where he compiled a record of 52-48 (.520) with four AFC South titles, four playoff appearances and two appearances in the AFC division round. His attacks in Houston proved to be balanced and powerful, with the Texans ranking in the top 10 in the league in rushing yards, while quarterback Deshaun Watson threw for 4,165 yards in 2018 and 3,852 yards in 2019.
