Teen musician Billie Eilish deigned to comment on the unhealthy media obsession for her figure.
In his October cover article SheThe 17-year-old girl talked about her body, often wearing thick sweatshirts and neon parkas. Of course, this should not be the subject of public discussion from the start, since Eilish is a minor, but it is. Eilish explains in the interview that a photo taken from her in a tank top after a performance in Nashville in June became viral on social media. "My breasts were fashionable on Twitter!" Said Eilish She. "At number one! What is it ?! Every point of sale wrote on my breasts! "It makes me angry, I have to wear a big shirt so that you do not feel comfortable with my breasts!
This is a sobering reminder: that young pop stars dance in school uniforms, sway naked on demolition balls or carry a paper bag at work, they will be objectified. Eilish criticized this impossible choice in the interview by saying, "I'm going to be a woman. I want to show my body. And if I want to make a video where I want to be desirable? "
There is absolutely no problem with longshoremen, but a lot with people, and Eilish knows it. She said She:
"I had to deal with a close friend who was a guy and I wore a tank top. And he said to me, "Ugh, put on a shirt!" And I said, "I have a shirt." Someone with smaller breasts could wear a tank top, and I could put that same tank top and have shame because my breasts are big. It's stupid. It's the same shirt!
I can not agree more that we live in a very stupid world!
