After hinting that a collaboration was underway in Spring 2019, Eilish and Rosalía ditched the dreamlike track in which the two music stars showcase their vocal chemistry as they swap slow-motion verses filled with hazy tunes and melancholy lyrics.

“I remember when we were writing the song I remember she said something about ‘this should be in English’. And I was like, “No, no, no. It should be in Spanish. It’s so beautiful.” And I’ve always liked music that isn’t in English, ”Eilish recently told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

The music video for “Lo Vas a Olvidar”, filmed by award-winning director Nabil, shows Eilish and Rosalía’s powerful performances against a dark backdrop.

The second category on last week’s tally was the “other” category with almost 17% of the votes, followed by “New Love,” a glittering house anthem from Diplo and Ronson’s Silk City, with vocals from Goulding. The collab collected nearly 16% of the total votes.

“The song is about getting lost on your own, not needing to be seen, knowing that whoever escaped might be as happy as this one,” Goulding said in a statement. “The main concept is to dance alone, no need to be seen.
