As announced, Billie Eilish released her new song “So I am”. The single arrives with a self-directed photo of the deserted Glendale Galleria, where Eilish used to hang out as a teenager. Watch the “Therefore I Am” video below.
“So I am” is Eilish’s third single of 2020, following “No Time to Die” and “my future”. Eilish will perform the first live concert of “Therefore I Am” at the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 22.
Last month, Eilish gave a virtual concert which was broadcast live from Los Angeles. His set included pieces from WHEN ARE WE ALL ASLEEP, WHERE ARE WE GOING? like “bad guy” and “xanny”, as well as more recent songs like “my future” and “No Time to Die”. In September, Eilish announced an upcoming documentary titled Billie Eilish: The world is a bit hazy. The RJ Cutler-directed film will be released in theaters and on Apple TV + in February 2021.
In addition to her live concert, Eilish performed at the virtual 2020 Democratic National Convention, where she performed “My Future”. She also appeared during the #iVoted virtual concert in late October. Earlier this year, Eilish joined a number of artists including Meek Mill, Big Thief, Anderson. Paak, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Leon Bridges, TV on Radio, James Blake and many more sign an open letter in support of police reforms in California. That same month, Eilish and FINNEAS provided NPR Music with a “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert”. They played “my future” and “whatever I wanted” last year. In May, Eilish and her father launched me and dad Radio on Apple Music.
