Billie Eilish to play Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas

Billie Eilish is set to star as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas at Danny Elfman’s upcoming concert in Los Angeles.

The Grammy winner, 19, will take the stage at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on October 29 to perform Sally’s song from the 1993 stop-motion classic.

Songwriter Danny announced on Twitter, “I’m absolutely thrilled that Billie is joining the Nightmare Team! It will be a real treat (not a trick)! ”

The Halloween event will also see Weird Al Yankovic as Lock and Ken Page will return as Oogie Boogie.

Billie was seen meeting the film’s producer Tim Burton at a Grammy party in January last year.

The film was based on a poem and story written by Burton, and grossed $ 91.5 million at the box office against a budget of $ 24 million.

Proving popular over the years, the film has been reissued several times by Walt Disney Pictures.

It was reissued annually in Disney Digital 3-D from 2006 to 2009, making it the first stop-motion animated feature to be fully converted to 3D.

Meanwhile, the No Time To Die singer confessed this week that she was worried about getting wet with excitement when hearing her Bond theme song on the big screen.

The Bad Guy singer performs the title song from the James Bond movie of the same name – which finally premiered the other night after months of delay – and she admitted she was very excited about the ‘crazy’ twist events.

She said, ‘This is going to be crazy. Oh my god, I’m going to pee.

Billie wrote the song with her brother Finneas and they both always wanted it to be a “big time”.

She added: “We always wanted to have a great time because it’s a Bond song. And although I’m known to sing softly, I guess I was just like, ‘I’m going to prove that I can do other stuff too. “‘
