Bills Mafia has not been able to support the team in person this season in home games. But they supported one of their own in a very important way.

Bills fans have donated over $ 100,000 at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo since Sunday, in honor of the grandmother of Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Patricia Allen, 80, died on Saturday.

Josh decided to play and he played really well, leading the Bills to a victory over the Seahawks and Buffalo’s first 7-2 start since 1993.

Many fans have donated in increments of $ 17, since that’s the number Josh wears. But you don’t have to be a Bills fan to support Josh Allen, a great young quarterback and (from our interactions with him) a great young man.

Click here and donate $ 17.

It’s $ 17. These are peanuts. If there are enough of you doing it, it’s a bunch of giant peanuts that will do great things for the hospital and show Josh and his family that every football fan appreciates him.
