Josh Allen and two other Buffalo Bills players were fined by the NFL for last week’s fourth quarter skirmish involving Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Alex Okafor who started with quarterback throwing the ball in retaliation for a late kick.
Allen was fined $ 15,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct for hitting the ball in Okafor’s face after being sacked with just over three minutes remaining at the AFC Championship, the NFL Network reported .

With the Bills’ fate roughly sealed at 38-21 on the fourth down, Allen fell 15 yards before being tackled by Okafor just as the whistle blew. Allen, believing the kick to be late, threw the ball in Okafor’s face while he was still on the ground.
Okafor quickly charged Allen but was stopped by guard Jon Feliciano and offensive tackle Dion Dawkins.

Each player was also hit with a penalty and both were fined $ 10,000 for their role. While Okafor received a penalty during the game, he was not fined by the league.
The Chiefs advanced to Super Bowl LV where they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday with hopes of winning back-to-back championships while the Bills use this season’s successes and failures as “fuel” for next year.

“Every game situation you find yourself in, you learn something. This one isn’t going to be fun to watch, it’s not fun to skip a game before the Super Bowl,” Allen said after the game. “This will fuel us, I have no doubt in my mind that we will be back.”
