BILOXI, Miss. (WKRG) – Investigators are looking for an armed man after a policeman was shot dead Sunday night in Biloxi. This happened in front of the Lopez Quave Public Security Center, Porter Avenue, around 10:30 pm. It is the main headquarters of the Biloxi Police Department. Investigators said that the suspect had approached the officer, who was in uniform and sitting in the parking lot. The suspect then fired several times at the police officer and then went away. The officer was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The suspect has been described as a man with a slim build between 5 & 7 and 5 & 10; The last time we saw him, he was wearing a red cap, a black shirt, navy blue shorts and high shoes. If you have information, call 911.
