Rather than announcing season premieres, this monthly release schedule highlights when a series’ seasons are available in their entirety, whether they’re shows airing one season at the same time, or when the season finale of a show that airs on a weekly airing schedule airs so you can watch an entire season or limited series at your own pace.
We also combined this with key movie titles that premiered on VOD and SVOD services. Highlights coming in January include the third season of the beloved “Cobra Kai,” the third season of CBS All Access’s big-budget “Star Trek: Discovery”, plus the animated fantasy comedy “Disenchantment,” a new “Doctor Who” vacation special, another “Euphoria” special, a Nic Cage hosted curse-tune docu-series, new “Search Party” episodes and more animated “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous”.
As for the movies, it’s calmer this time around with Regina King’s “One Night in Miami”, the biggest showstopper with Warners HBO Max’s release of “The Little Things” starring Denzel Washington and Jared Leto. There’s also the delirium of “Pieces of a Woman”, the “The Dig” directed by Ralph Fiennes, the “Penguin Bloom” directed by Naomi Watts, the premiere of “Palmer” by Fisher Stevens and the two-part doco Tiger Woods HBO “Tiger”.
