Björk reissues his studio album 2015 vulnicura like a virtual reality experience. The VR version of vulnicura brings together the visual elements that have traveled the museums as part of the Björk Digital exhibition and which have been updated to a final version. The new experience is available this Friday, September 6th. Find the Björk ad below.

"vulnicura Virtual reality has been a long journey that began when Andy Thomas Huang and I started talking about how we wanted to document 'Stonemilker' ', "Björk writes in a statement. "We then filmed it in November 2014 with a 360 camera on a beach in Iceland"

She added, "The whole process was an improvisation, trying to maintain confidence in the formats. It's too easy for musicians to become pessimistic once CD's evaporated, but I wanted to try to have the courage to progress along with the growth of sound technology and 360-degree vision. With each challenge, try to turn it into an extra gift for the ideology of music.

With 'Stonemilker', the virtual reality experience includes visual elements for 'Lionsong', 'Notget', 'Mouth Mantra', 'Quicksand', 'Black Lake' and 'Family'. Each song in the album is also accompanied by a new 360 degree animation score of Stephen Malinowski.

After the release of vulnicura, Björk shared Vulnicura Ropes-A remake of LP using only channels as accompaniment – and Vulnicura Live. Björk's last studio album was 2017 Utopia.
