This story is part of Holiday gift guide 2020, CNET’s Gift Picks with expert advice, reviews, and recommendations for the latest tech gifts for you and your family.

Why wait Black friday? Sales have already started on nearly all of our favorite Roku, Fire TV, and Chromecast devices, and we’ve collected them all here. This page gathers the best offers on Amazon, Best buy, Walmart and elsewhere. Many of these sales were announced from November 22 to 25, but almost all of them are already live. The strong points:

Truth be told, we’d be looking for a Roku, or the Chromecast with Google TV, before the Fire Stick, but Amazon’s streamer deals have also been pretty good lately and HBO Max finally arrives on the platform. The big plus here is that all of these devices are at or near low prices, and they are all a great way to upgrade older TVs to the latest streaming platforms.

Note that prices and availability were accurate at the time of posting, but may fluctuate.

The Roku Streaming Stick Plus 4K is our favorite streamer, and at just $ 30, it’ll be pretty untouchable when it comes to value for money. The Stick offers hundreds of apps, the excellent Roku interface and a robust voice-activated remote control. Read our Roku Streaming Stick Plus review.

It’s not a 2020 model like the two above, but it’s still the best deal. It’s the only Fire stick capable of playing 4K HDR video, and at just $ 2 more than the standard non-4K stick, it’s worth the investment even if you don’t already have a 4K TV. Read our Fire TV Stick 4K review.

Google’s new Chromecast with Google TV has a lot to like, including a revamped, 4K HDR interface with Dolby Vision support, a real remote, and great integration with Google Assistant. In an exclusive deal on the Google Store, the search giant is bundling its normally $ 50 streamer with a six-month Netflix Standard plan for $ 90. The deal is available to new and existing Netflix subscribers. Read our Chromecast review with Google TV.

Like the Roku Ultra, the Streambar came out about 10 seconds ago and also enjoys a healthy discount. For the same price as the Ultra on a normal day, the Streambar pairs a capable 4K streamer with a dialogue-enhancing soundbar. It even launches Bluetooth for good measure. The Roku SE 2019 is a barebones Roku that can handle all of your streaming needs. It’s not as fast as the Streaming Stick Plus, and it doesn’t include Roku’s more useful upgraded remote control (which has a microphone for voice control and doesn’t require you to point directly at the TV). It also lacks 4K support and new features like AirPlay. However, it costs just $ 17 and should be fine for basic streaming.

The SE is pretty much the same as the $ 25 Roku Express apart from the color white.

The great thing that the Fire TV Stick Lite lacks is a remote that controls the power and volume of your TV. The Fire TV Stick 2020 has this remote, and for Amazon’s Black Friday sale, it will be discounted from $ 40 to $ 28. But unless you really want to save $ 2, you should get the Fire TV Stick 4K (below) instead, which adds 4K TV resolution support to the mix. Read our Fire TV Stick 2020 review.

Last month we saw plenty of deals on the end-of-life Roku Ultra, but the 2020 model has barely been released and it’s already scaled down. From what we’ve seen, it’s a significant upgrade – with Dolby Vision and better wireless performance – and at $ 69 it’s a pretty good deal. Read our Roku Ultra 2020 review.

The Fire TV Cube combines an Alexa voice-activated speaker, Fire TV 4K video streamer, and universal remote in one device. If you like using your voice to control the TV – not to mention the other Alexa-enabled devices in your home – maybe it’s worth taking the plunge with this cool all-in-one product, which goes from $ 120 to $ 80. Note that this is the latest version (2019), which has added some nice improvements since we first reviewed it in 2018. Learn more about the Fire TV Cube.

The redesign of Fire TV is one of the easiest ways to record and stream live TV. It fits nicely with a Fire TV stick and at $ 100 off that’s an amazing bargain. Read our Fire TV Recast review.

The Roku Premiere is essentially the Streaming Stick Plus (same channels, stream in 4K HDR quality) in a tabletop case, but without the best remote that also controls your TV’s volume and power. We recommend spending an extra $ 5 on the Stick Plus, but it is otherwise a solid streamer. Read our Roku Premiere review.

Want a Chromecast but don’t care about the new software or the Google TV remote? Google’s old Chromecast will drop to $ 19 at Walmart for Black Friday. It appears to be the regular Chromecast – not the 4K compatible Chromecast Ultra – but if you don’t mind running apps from your phone, tablet, or computer, it’s a good, inexpensive choice. Oh, and $ 5 Vudu Credit is included as well. Read our Chromecast review.

Roku’s exclusive version of the Ultra for Walmart fell to $ 48. Although this is the 2019 version, it normally sells for $ 79 and is a capable Roku box that supports 4K HDR, an Ethernet jack, and includes a remote with a headphone jack for private listening. While broadly similar to the Main Ultra, the Ultra LT unfortunately does away with the remote search feature and programmable keys on the remote. Read our comparison of the Ultra LT and other Rokus.
