The hard-to-resist Hulu Black Friday promotion is back for another year. It lets you subscribe to the standard plan (with ads) for $ 1.99 per month instead of the normal rate of $ 5.99.
Here’s the fine print: This offer is only available to new and old customers – and to qualify for the latter, you must have canceled the service at least three months ago. Anyone who took advantage of last year’s $ 1.99 promotion is not eligible this time around.
The Hulu offer will be available from 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 a.m.ET on Thursday and will continue until 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday evening (2:59 a.m.ET Tuesday).
Sign up for Sling TV and get your second month for free
New customers who subscribe to the Sling TV live TV streaming service will receive their second month of Sling Blue or Sling Orange (valued at $ 30) for free as part of the company’s vacation offer. If you pre-pay for two months of service, you can get a free TiVo Stream 4K, which is a perfectly decent Android TV streaming dongle. Sling TV also offers a three-day free trial of the service.
Get four months of Tidal for 99 cents or $ 1.99 for Hi-Fi
Tidal’s annual subscription discount is available from November 24 through December 2. Those who take advantage of it can get four months of standard tide bonus for 99 cents; you can also go for the lossless HiFi service level for $ 1.99. Tidal says it’s worth $ 39.96 (Premium) and $ 79.96 (HiFi). After the promotional period, you’ll be hooked on the standard going rate of $ 9.99 / month for Tidal Premium or $ 19.99 / month for HiFi.
YouTube TV now comes with a free Chromecast
If you’ve never tried YouTube’s streaming service, now you can get a free Chromecast with Google TV (worth $ 49.99) once you sign up. The rising cost of YouTube TV is frustrating, but at least now you’re getting a free gadget with your first bill of $ 64.99.
