Tracee Ellis Ross meets with some of his old girlfriends: UPN / CW sitcom co-stars Ross will join her in an October episode of blackish.
Ross confirmed the news on Twitter with a video that presents it and girlfriends Jill Marie Jones, Persia White and Golden Brooks, who are part of the cast, call the epic television meeting "an episode not to be missed".
In this episode airing Oct. 8, Ross's Bow will take his daughter Diane to meet the women of her feminist group, and bring three of her friends to join the group to make it more inclusive.
"We have not been together in front of the camera since 2006," Ross said. Weekly entertainment about her girlfriends co-stars. "Being able to merge the worlds of blackish and girlfriends was surreal for me – and so much fun. These are women with whom I grew up and whom I love deeply, and it was easy to tap into the magic of our chemistry and how much we loved each other. It was laughs over the laughs.
Ross played alongside Jones, White and Brooks on girlfriends, which debuted on UPN in 2000 and moved to the CW in 2006, ending an eight season season in 2008.
