The Black Keys are back on the road with a 2019 North American tour that will have lasted 31 years. the Let's dance The release will begin at Pepsi Center in Denver after the group's first place at the Life is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas on September 21st.
The tour will take place at arenas in major cities such as Chicago, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles and Austin before ending in Vancouver at the Pepsi Live Rogers Arena on November 24th. & The Clams, * repeat repeat, and Jessy Wilson will open each of the selected shows on the tour.
The duo was last seen together at the 2015 Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco, California. He has not yet announced a new album despite the release of a single surprise, "Lo / Hi", on March 7th.
The Black Keys recently launched the song, the band's first new music since their 2014 album, Become blue. "Lo / Hi" was written and produced by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, members of the Black Keys, and recorded at Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville.
Since their last album, Auerbach formed in 2017 the label Easy Eye Sound, named after his studio in Nashville, with the release of his second solo album, Waiting for a song. Easy Eye Sound now has a large number of artists including Yola, Shannon & The Clams, Dee White, Sonny Smith, Robert Finley and many others.
In recent years, Carney has produced and recorded new music with such artists as Calvin Johnson, Michelle Branch, Dams of the West, Tobias Jesso Jr., Tennis, Repeat Repeat, Wild Belle, Sad Planets and more. He also created the theme music for the Netflix TV show BoJack Cavalier with his late uncle, Ralph Carney.
Tickets for all dates will be on sale to the general public starting March 22 at 10 am local time here. The tour teamed up with Ticketmaster's Verified Fan platform to reduce the use of robots and scalpers during the sale. Fans can register as early as Sunday March 17th at 10pm. Registered fans who receive a code will have access to tickets before the general public on Thursday, March 19th at 10 am local time, until March 21st at 10 pm. local hour.
