PlayStation players enjoy a bonus Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War called Zombies Onslaught.
As announced by PlayStation, the new Zombies Onslaught mode is available exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users.
The new mode is a survival-based mode played on MP maps.

The mode also features exclusive Timed Challenges that provide players with rewards to use in MP and Zombies. These rewards are also only available on PlayStation.
Introducing Zombies Onslaught
In Zombies Onslaught, you and another Operator will deploy to one of the many locations derived from various multiplayer maps with your custom loadouts. These are the same loadouts you’ll take in traditional zombies and multiplayer, along with your favorite primary weapon, be it an LMG, high impact sniper rifle, or other fully equipped tool for zombie destruction.
Once you arrive, the assault begins; The Dark Aether Orb will confine your duo to a specific space on the map, where the undead will begin to spawn. Killing these zombies will fuel the Orb. Kill enough zombies and the Orb will move. As long as you are inside the Orb, you will not take Dark Aether damage from outside of the specific map area the Orb is protecting, which helps keep players alive while as they fight increasingly difficult undead enemies, with each “push” bringing more resilience, speed and death. zombies.
As the Orb grows in power and you take down more enemies, expect to stay on the move as the safe zone moves to different areas of the map, forcing you to switch strategy to fly while fending off the Eternal Horde.
Surges can also include elite enemies, more powerful opponents than regular zombified masses. However, don’t count them as cannon fodder: the Restricted Area can get them within easy reach, which is all they need to bring you and your duo down.
For the sake of scoring, elites should be your primary target, as you will be awarded a Bronze, Silver, or Gold ranking depending on how many elites you and your partner can defeat.
Upon reaching a specific rank, you will unlock useful rewards for use in zombies and multiplayer. Each season, new maps and rewards will be introduced for PS4 and PS5 players.
Black Ops Cold War PlayStation exclusive content is not available on other platforms until November 1, 2021.
