Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War now supports adaptive triggers for the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller on PC.

Players noticed the support this week alongside the release of the Season Four Reloaded update. This was not mentioned in the Treyarch patch notes.

Redditor Joslatt1 took to the Black Ops Cold War subreddit to report the new support, which other players have subsequently confirmed. There’s even a toggle in the menu for “trigger haptics”.

The PC now recognizes PS5 controllers and includes haptic feedback! by r / blackopscoldwar

The video below, from someone on YouTube called Paulo, shows the technology, which allows you to feel force and tension by pulling the trigger:

It should be noted that the trigger haptics currently only works when the DualSense controller is connected to your PC via cable – and not wirelessly via Bluetooth.

DualSense support is a welcome addition to Black Ops Cold War on PC and follows similar updates to Metro Exodus and Assassin’s Creed. Valhalla.
